MCSI: Medical Career Scene Investigation
![]() |
MCSI, aka Medical Career Scene Investigation, provides middle-schoolers with the opportunity to learn about exciting careers in the health sciences. During the month of June, three summer day camps were held for 6th through 9th grade students: one in Cadillac, one in Petoskey, and one in Traverse City.
Students were given hands-on learning opportunities and interactive lessons and demonstrations with medical career personnel such as Surgical Technologists, Respiratory Therapists, Nurses, Emergency Medical Services, Pharmacists, Phlebotomists, Physical Rehab Therapists, and more!
MCSI is a collaborative effort sponsored by Michigan Works!, area schools, and hospitals.
