What's the Process?

Receiving No Worker Left Behind funding initially involves a 4-step process.

Step 1: Attend an Orientation

Start by signing up for a No Worker Left Behind orientation at your local Northwest Michigan Works! Service Center.

Step 2: In-demand Occupations

Select an occupation that is in demand, from the local in-demand occupations list.

Step 3: Approved Training Programs

Select a training program that will prepare you for your new career from the approved training programs list.

Step 4: Assessment

Complete assessment requirements, customized to your plans and needs.

At the Assessment stage, you will meet with a Career Advisor, who will approve your training plans or work with you to move in a different direction. He or she will guide you through completing requirements and moving into your training program successfully.
