TC – TALUS
The mission of the Traverse City Area Transportation and Land Use Study (TC-TALUS) is to provide coordinated leadership and direction for the development and conduct of the continuing, cooperative and comprehensive transportation planning process for the Traverse City urban area.
The 24-member board of directors includes members from area units of government, road commissions, Michigan Department Of Transportation (MDOT), Cherry Capital Airport, Traverse City Area Public Schools (TCAPS), Traverse Area Recreation and Transportation (TART) and Bay Area Transportation Authority (BATA), Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce and citizens-at-large.
Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) Director Kirk Steudle met with The Grand Vision Transportation Network, which includes TC-TALUS and local road agency officials, to discuss the future of transportation funding in Michigan.
