The Northwest Michigan Workforce Development Board, one of twenty-five Workforce Development Boards in Michigan, is a volunteer board comprised of private business representatives and public sector representatives. The board works in partnership with the Council of Governments board and provides oversight for the entire workforce development system including several federal and state funded programs and the Michigan Works! Centers. 

 

The administration of the Council of Governments and its subcontractors provide delivery of programs under the direction of the Northwest Michigan Workforce Development Board.
