Northwest Michigan WORKS! Service Centers represent the front line of local workforce development service delivery. Here, job seekers will find many free resources. The five Service Centers are centrally located throughout the 10-county region: Cadillac, Kalkaska, Manistee, Petoskey, and Traverse City. Hours vary.
Resource Rooms
Resource Rooms are located in every Northwest Michigan Works! Service Center.
Job seekers can:

- Create a professional résumé using specialized software
- Print a résumé on résumé paper to send to a potential employer
- Use copy and fax machines
- Research careers
- Find current labor market information and occupational outlook information
- Use specialized software to practice interviewing
- View job board for current, local job postings

Learning Labs
Northwest Michigan WORKS! Learning Labs provide individualized instruction to adults who wish to finish their high school education through a GED or High School diploma, prepare for college, or improve their reading, writing, math, and keyboarding skills.
